Power To Peruse, LLC (“us”, “we”, or “our”) operates TexasPowerGuide.com (the “Site”). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use and disclosure of Personal Information we receive from users of the Site.

We value your privacy as much as we value our own, so we strive to make using our Site and services as simple and nonobtrusive as possible. In general, we do not collect any of your Personal Information in the course of you using our Site or services, with four exceptions:

1. We use PayPal to process payment transactions. When you purchase our services, you’ll be temporarily redirected to PayPal’s secure server to provide your payment information and complete the transaction.  PayPal’s Privacy policy can be found here. As the merchant, Power To Peruse, LLC never has any visibility to your credit card or other financial information. PayPal does provide us confirmation emails and transaction reports that include only your name, contact email, and amount paid. Access to this information is limited to our key personnel only for financial record-keeping, for confirming customer eligibility for our services, or for responding to any billing issue inquiries initiated by you. We will not otherwise use — and we will never sell or transfer — the name or email information provided to us by PayPal.
2. If you opt into our plan analysis or monitoring services, we’ll retain and use the information you provide and any related electricity usage and plan information solely to provide whatever rate comparisons and/or plan expiration notifications you request.
3. You may opt to contact us by email or otherwise with questions, feedback, or other comments. If so, we will not use your name, email, or other voluntarily-supplied personally identifiable information for any purpose other than to respond to you as warranted by the context of your immediate inquiry.
4. If you wish to follow TexasPowerGuide on Facebook or Twitter, you may do so by opting-in directly on those services, pursuant to those services’ own Terms and Privacy policies. As a follower, you may see occasional posts about electricity plan deals or energy savings opportunities directly from us. We do not share our follower list with any other parties. If you want to opt-out of following us, you can do so at any time.

Do Not Track & Cookies

We honor browser “Do Not Track” requests and do not employ browser “cookies” for any marketing purposes or third-party behavioral tracking.

Security

The security of your Personal Information is important to us, but no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify this Privacy Policy at any time for any reason. If we ever modify the policy in any way, we will update the Effective Date listed above to the date the new Policy is publicly posted on this page and protect all personal information obtained prior to that date per the policy in effect when that information was obtained.
